Estes Park Wedding Venue FAQs

Why Choose An Estes Park Wedding Venue?

Estes Park is a mountain town about an hour and a half from Denver that provides easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park.

Rocky Mountain National Park is a stunning place for a wedding (you can read more about that here) but the permit can be hard to obtain and there are restrictions on how many guests you can have. Due to this, lots of couples choose to have an Estes Park wedding instead and just go into RMNP for couple portraits or an adventure session the next day!

As Estes Park wedding photographers, we’ll walk you through the best places to get married, when to visit, where to stay and our Estes Park elopement packages.

Best Time Of Year For Your Estes Park Wedding

The best time for an Estes Park wedding or elopement is in summer or winter, depending what type of experience you’re looking for.

Fall in Estes Park can be beautiful as well, but there aren’t as many aspens here as other locations in Colorado, so it’s not the best place if you’re hoping for fall foliage. Spring can be unpredictable when it comes to weather.

We highly recommend planning your elopement for a weekday (Monday-Thursday) to avoid crowds. Sunrise elopements are our favorite as they’re pretty much always private and there’s a lower chance of inclement weather.
