In fact, almost every couple we work with inquires with us before they have a plan for their elopement- they just know they want epic photos in the mountains and we help with the rest. The biggest hack for planning your elopement is to hire an experienced local elopement photographer (hi, us) who can help you turn your vision into a once in a lifetime experience.

As Denver locals who exclusively photograph elopements, we know the Colorado mountains like the back of our hands. Whether you’re dreaming of sweeping mountain views or hidden alpine lakes, we’ve spent countless hours finding the perfect locations for you and hiking the trails to personally vet them for you. Plus, we are adventure ready! Hiking to a stunning vista or off-roading to a remote location? Count us in! Many elopement packages only come with one photographer.. But since we’re a husband and wife team, you get TWO! Our couples often tell us that working with us feels like hanging out with friends rather than working with vendors (or having a third wheel tag along). 

We offer photo & video so you can get a cohesive style while only having to hire one company. Plus, if you’ve just hired us for photo, you can add video any time before your elopement! We also offer a ton of fun extras like drone footage, astrophotography, film photos, GIFs, polaroids and more.

If you know you want to elope in the mountains of Colorado, we’ll do the rest. We’ll curate a selection of the most beautiful locations that perfectly fit your unique desires, to make finding your elopement location simple. You’ll receive a location guide with the most beautiful places in the area you choose.

We spend lots of time researching the locations so you don’t have to- and exploring them in person to make sure they’re perfect for your elopement!

PS – most elopement locations are totally free and don’t require permits, unless you have 15+ guests and need to reserve a small venue.

We’re here to help through every step, so you don’t have to wonder if you’re missing anything.  From planning logistics to packing for the day, we’ve got you covered. 

We are not full service planners, but most of our couples who elope do not end up needing a planner because we help with a lot of the logistics. And the best part? While we provide expert recommendations, you’ll have the freedom to choose the vendors and lodging that align best with your style—so you can avoid the unnecessary coordination fees (and added risk) that come with other all-inclusive elopement packages.

We provide guidance where necessary while also letting the genuine moments play out capturing the authentic emotions between you.

Take your elopement memories to new heights—literally! Our drone photography and videography captures your elopement from a different perspective. If you want drone footage be sure to let us know so we can suggest locations that allow drones. 

How does snuggling up together under a canopy of stars sound? For those willing to stay out after the sun goes down, we can explore with lanterns at blue hour and then go stargazing and do some astrophotography!

Full gallery of hundreds of stunning images and variety of videos, perfect for sharing or watching on your anniversary. Your full gallery of individually edited, high-resolution images will be available for download and sharing. Hosted online forever, your gallery ensures that your memories are safe, accessible, and easy to share with family and friends. We believe your elopement photos deserve more than just a spot on your phone—they should be beautifully showcased in a way that you can hold and cherish forever. That’s why we include a complimentary custom album design when you add a photo album to your package. 01 / Submit the contact form

First, fill out and submit the contact form below. This is the very first step in planning your elopement- so don’t feel like you have to have anything figured out before this. Just share what information you have! As long as you know you want to elope in the mountains, we’ll help with the rest.

02 / Review the pricing guide

We’ll email you back as soon as possible, typically within 24 hours. We’ll share our availability, full pricing guide, a few photo galleries and any other information that would be helpful based on your inquiry. Then, you both can review the pricing guide together to ensure our packages align with what you’re looking for before setting up a call with us.

03 / Set up a no pressure discovery call

Once you’ve reviewed the pricing guide, you can use our scheduling link to set up a time to chat that works for the both of you. We typically just do phone calls, but we’re more than happy to do a video call if you’d prefer. We’ll help you choose the best date and general area for your elopement and answer any questions you may have.

04 / book your elopement

When you’re ready to move forward, we’ll send you the contract and invoice via email. Once you sign and submit the $2000 deposit, your date(s) will be officially reserved with us! From that moment on, we’ll be on your team—ready to guide you through every step of planning your dream elopement. You’ll immediately receive our exclusive planning guide, packed with helpful tips and insights, and we’ll begin crafting your custom location guide to help you find the most beautiful place to get married

As Colorado elopement photographers, videographers, and planners, we aim to make your elopement everything you’ve imagined and more. Our elopement packages are designed to simplify your planning process while offering the flexibility to make your day uniquely yours.

While we provide recommendations, you have the freedom to book the vendors and services that best align with your vision, saving on coordination fees while ensuring that your day is perfectly tailored to you.

Short answer- you should book your package with us as soon as you’re ready to set a date. The sooner you book us, the more time we’ll have to plan which will help everything be stress-free! Also, prime dates (like peak wildflower season and fall colors) book up faster.  

Most couples book their elopement package about 6-12 months in advance of their date. However, we can accommodate last-minute bookings if we have availability (and yes- it is possible to plan an elopement in just a few months). We allow bookings within the current year and next calendar year, but we do not book out further than that.

Most couples book 12 hours total, split over two days. This allows for a fun and relaxed experience with lots of epic locations, without trying to squish too much into one day.  

In most cases you don’t need a permit to elope just the two of you on public land, but it depends on the location and what you’re planning. National Parks and privately owned spaces require permits, and if you’re having 15+ guests you may need a reservable space. Don’t worry, though—we’ll help you figure out exactly what’s needed and guide you through the process of securing your permits.

Yes! We LOVE dogs (and all animals). Colorado is a pet-friendly state, and many outdoor locations allow pets. We can even guide you through the process of having your pet sign your marriage license (yes, it’s possible in Colorado!). Just let us know if you plan to include your pet, and we’ll provide tips and suggestions to ensure they’re comfortable and happy throughout the day.

Our planning assistance is included complimentary with every package, to ensure you get the best photos and videos that align with the rest of our portfolio. The biggest service we offer with our planning is location guidance and timeline creation, which typically every couple needs (even if you think you don’t). If you don’t need vendor recs or anything else, no worries! But the price doesn’t change.

Yes, we do! It’s a $2000 deposit to reserve your date with us, and the remaining balance is broken up into monthly installments with the last being due 1 month prior to the elopement date. If you’d prefer to pay in full, we do offer a $500 discount. 

We know that mountain weather can be unpredictable! That’s why we offer weather backup days for our elopements, so you have the flexibility to pivot if conditions aren’t ideal. And if rescheduling isn’t possible, we’re experienced at making the most of any weather—rain, snow, or shine.

No, you don’t need to have a specific location chosen before booking. Part of our service includes personalized location assistance. We’ll work with you to find the perfect spot based on your preferences! Our local expertise ensures that we’ll find a location that resonates with your vision and provides the best backdrop for your ceremony.

Absolutely! While many couples choose to elope just the two of them, you’re welcome to invite a small group of close friends and family.

Keep in mind that if you have more than 6-10 guests, some locations will become unavailable for you. For weddings with more than 15 guests, you might need a micro-wedding venue.

Not at all! While we’re always up for a hike to a stunning location, there are plenty of accessible spots with breathtaking views that don’t require trekking. We’ll work together to find a location that matches your comfort level and vision.

You’ll receive a selection of 20+ previews (AKA “sneak peek” photos) within 1 week of your elopement and the full gallery of hundreds of photos within 2-3 months.

Video takes a bit longer- you’ll get a teaser film (basically a music video ) within 1 month and your feature film (full 5+ minute video with audio) within 3-4 months.

We photograph most of our elopements in Colorado, and travel to Yosemite every June. However, we are always open to travel to other epic mountain locations if our schedule allows, so don’t hesitate to inquire about a different spot! 

We photographed big weddings for years, but now exclusively focus on elopements and intimate weddings. Our specialty lies in creating personal, meaningful experiences for couples who want something different from a traditional big wedding. However, feel free to inquire and we will consider your wedding based on location and guest count.
