Breckenridge in the winter is unreal. Frozen lakes, snow stacked on every peak, and a kind of quiet you only get above 10,000 feet when it’s cold enough to keep most people away. We love it up here this time of year – and Elaine & Case’s Breckenridge proposal was one of the best winter mornings we’ve had in a while.

Breckenridge Proposal

We met up with Case and Elaine at sunrise for their “photoshoot” in Colorado. Little did Elaine know, we’d been planning this Breckenridge proposal with Case for weeks in secret! The fact that they got engaged on a frozen alpine lake in Breck made it even more special.

After the proposal we explored the area for more proposal photos (it was worth braving the cold for)! One of our favorite winter mornings, hands down. Scroll on for the full gallery!
