Sunrise Amphitheater is a wedding venue located at 1198 Flagstaff Dr in Boulder, Colorado. It’s suitable for elopements and weddings with less than 100 guests. It’s a very accessible location with only a short, paved walk from the parking lot.

When To Get Married At Sunrise Amphitheater

Sunrise Amphitheater is available from May 1st to October 30th each year. The road is closed to vehicles from Oct 31st to April 30th each year. The venue is not available to be reserved on most holidays including Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.

The best time of day to get married here is in the morning, as the name would suggest, as that’s when the lighting is the best and you’ll avoid crowds. There are one hour and three hour time slots available to reserve. The one hour blocks are from 6-7am, 7-8am and 8-9am. These are the best time slot to reserve, and you may want to consider renting multiple consecutive time slots to have more time to set up, have the ceremony and take photos there afterwards. The three hour slots are 10am-1pm, 2-5pm and 6-9pm. These time slots are not recommended as the lighting won’t be as good.

Sunrise Amphitheater Wedding Cost

The cost to get married at Sunrise Amphitheater starts at just $100, and varies depending on the time block you book and if you’re a local resident or not. The hour time blocks are $100 for residents and $150 for non-residents. A three hour time blocks are $300 for residents or $400 for non-residents.

Sunrise Amphitheater Wedding Rules

No structures are allowed at the location.
Not allowed to use or leave any materials such as flower petals, rice, confetti, etc.
No drones.
No glass of any kind, unless used in a religious ceremony and the glass is contained in a sturdy tarp.
Only battery operated music devices allowed. Must respect other visitors.
