Shrine Mountain Inn is one of Colorado’s most unique small wedding venues – a collection of private, rentable cabins tucked into the mountains above Vail, where you can gather your closest people and truly make the space your own. With stunning alpine scenery, outdoor ceremony space, and on-site lodging for your guests, it’s the perfect setting for couples who want the intimacy of an elopement with the celebration of a micro wedding. Karen and Ivan did exactly that, and it was absolutely dreamy from start to finish.

Shrine Mountain Inn Wedding Day
When K+I inquired with us, they knew they wanted to get married in the mountains with their family but weren’t sure where. Since they had more than 10 guests attending, we knew we had to find them a small wedding venue to accommodate the group size. After lots of research on untraditional mountain wedding venues in Colorado we came across the perfect place- Shrine Mountain Inn!
K+I had a Shrine Mountain Inn wedding, located in Vail Colorado. It’s a series of cabins you can rent out like an Airbnb, and they allow you to have events on the property as well. They rented out multiple cabins – Walters Cabin, Jays Cabin and Chucks Cabin for them and their family. They got ready in separate cabins, and had the ceremony outdoors with the stunning mountain backdrop, then celebrated with champagne and brunch afterwards. We absolutely loved this location for their micro wedding and can’t wait to work here again!
