Why Choose Moraine Park Amphitheater For Your Wedding?
Moraine Park Amphitheater is one of the most accessible wedding spots in Rocky Mountain National Park. It’s the only location that is dog friendly and allows you to have decor such as an arch.
It offers seating for up to thirty guests, located just a few steps from the parking lot, and is very secluded from other tourists. The only downside to this location is that it doesn’t offer mountain views, like other ceremony locations in Rocky Mountain National Park.
Moraine Park is best for evening/sunset ceremonies, and is close to other locations in RMNP for newlywed photos!
Moraine Park Amphitheater Wedding Cost
To hold your wedding here, you’ll need a Special Use Permit from Rocky Mountain National Park. The permit costs three hundred dollars and can be requested up to one year in advance, starting on the first day of the month. That means if you want a June fifteenth wedding, you’ll need to apply starting June first of the previous year.
Permits for the summer months tend to go quickly, and in 2025 and 2026, many of the prime dates are already booked. The permit also covers the park’s timed-entry reservation system, making access on your wedding day much easier.
