Penny & Michael met in high school when they were both on the cross country team. Many years later they started dating and even through long distance, love prevailed. They decided to have a beautiful elopement at the Junebug Retro Resort in Asheville. It is an amazing space with old airstream and shasta trailers creating a crescent moon around an open field. Across the stream from the trailers is a beautiful venue where Penny and Michael held their elopement.
Penny & Michael had their close friend as the officiant who provided a touching tribute to Penny and Michael. They opted to write their own vows which were the best we have seen. There was not a dry tear in the audience (or behind the camera). After the ceremony we snuck them off for some newlywed portraits before they joined their closest friends and family at a nearby restaurant for dinner. Congratulations Penny and Michael!
