The Venue

Oakland Cemetery might seem like a strange place for a wedding, but if you've ever been to this historic cemetery you would understand why Brittni and Patrick decided to elope there. The area is filled with interesting landscapes, gorgeous plants and unique structures everywhere you turn. They also have a greenhouse that you can rent out!

Oakland Cemetery Wedding

Brittni & Patrick originally planned to have their wedding at Oakland Cemetery in October of 2020. Unfortunately, like many others, they had to postpone their large celebration for everyone's safety. This didn't stop them from having a small wedding to get married, though!

The couple chose to have their intimate wedding on August 23rd, the same date that Brittni's grandparents had gotten married many years prior. Their closest family and friends attended the well masked and socially distanced event to safely witness the couple's ceremony at Oakland Cemetery.

Since they had to limit their guest count, they asked us to run a live-stream for them so that those who were unable to attend would still be able to watch. The couple even said hi to the guests on the camera after they were announced husband and wife! We also filmed the entire ceremony, so that they would be able to send it to those who couldn't see the live-stream.
