Montaluce Winery Wedding | Dahlonega, Georgia
Montaluce Winery is nestled within the North Georgia Mountains in a small town called Dahlonega, Georgia- about 2 hours north of Atlanta. The wedding venue is elegant with tuscan architecture featuring a vineyard, small lake and the most delicious food.
The Wedding
Erin and Jake planned a winter wedding at Montaluce Winery in early December. We started the day with photographing Erin’s custom designed, blush dress made by Gregory Ellenburg. Then, we moved on to the details! We embellished the invitation suite with florals from Maggie Blair and a hand-made rope that Erin hand made to “tie the knot” during the ceremony.
Their ceremony took place in the production room, lit only by candle light. The room was decorated elegant but simply, with greenery enhancing the area. Erin & Jake read their vows surrounded by their closest friends and family before saying I do.
Following the ceremony we took advantage of the venue and captured the couples newly wed photos. Montaluce winery is perfect for weddings because it has so many areas around the venue for photo ops! As the light faded away, we brought the couple to the front of the venue to get some night photos before starting the party.
The Party
Walking into the reception at Montaluce Winery was like a dream! The greenery and candle light filled the room as everyone was seated for dinner. Another benefit of having a wedding at Montaluce Winery is that their food is to die for! Ginger Spice Bakery did an amazing job with their unique black wedding cake which the couple cut before starting their first dance.
Then the party got started! Erin, Jake and all their guests flooded the dance floor. Simon Rimmer of Sifi Entertainment kept the party alive by providing awesome music all night. Finally, as the night came to an end everyone said their goodbyes as Erin and Jake ran through a sparkler send off!
