After talking to Taylor and Shayne for the first time we knew we they would be a good fit based on our mutual love for dogs and down to earth personalities. Theyāre really the type of couple that likes to have fun and doesnāt take life too seriously and we love that about them! You can find them at Las Palmas, where they had their first date, drinking beers, snacking on chips and queso and endlessly making each other laugh. We had the best time with them at their engagement session in the mountains of Dahlonega and shooting their wedding at King Plow Arts Center.
Their King Plow Arts Center Wedding was intimate, romantic and unique. The venue is a renovated warehouse in Westside, Atlanta Georgia with a historic art gallery. Itās an industrial space with a contemporary vibe that doesnāt require much decor but definitely allows you to customize it to fit your vision.

Why did you choose your venue and what are your favorite features of it?
The intimate lighting and the unique venue really made it feel like āUSā
What inspired your wedding dƩcor? Did you have a theme in mind?
Just dark and moody! Being in the winter we wanted that!!
How did you make your wedding about the two of you?
We did everything the other wanted to do. No compromise, we just did it! Our families were both equally involved! So it turned out exactly about US! Our communion and Shayneās prayer to us was my absolute favorite thing!
Most memorable moment from your wedding day?
My first look with my dad and brothers and my the communion and prayer with our pastor and Shayne. Being able to include both my family and Shayneās in the little details made it worth it!
Imagine you’re looking at these images 5 years from now and you’re really happy, what are you happy about?
The fact we finally took the time to get professional pictures done together. So often we say we miss picture opportunities because weāre so busy living in the moment. But I think weāll enjoy having them for forever and showing our kids one day.
What was the biggest challenge you faced in planning your wedding? Do you have any advice for those planning now?
The stress was huge! But just learned to go to with the flow regardless of what happens and what doesnāt is the KEY! The little details you think matter end up taking such a small amount and you realize that it works!
