Hightower Falls is an absolutely stunning wedding venue in North Georgia that features a waterfall, bridge and old brick ruins. This location is a hidden gem in Cedartown, Georgia that’s a perfect location for an engagement session or wedding with lots of nature, greenery and water.
Hightower Falls – Waterfall Engagement Photos
Ashley and David’s engagement session at Hightower Falls started out beautiful and sunny.. before it started down-pouring out of nowhere! We hid in our cars for a few minutes as the unforeseen storm passed by. These two were so fun and definitely would have danced in the rain, but since it was the very start of the session (literally no photos had been taken yet) we decided to keep them dry! Luckily the rain subsided and we were able to wander around Hightower Falls and take photos with all the gorgeous scenery this venue provides!
Location Pros and Cons
Hightower Falls is a really nice place to take your engagement photos or have a waterfall wedding. Here’s a few pros and cons of this location while you decide if you want to have your photos at this venue..
Pro- You have the whole place to yourself when you rent the venue for a session! I’m not sure whether to put the rental fee as a pro or con, because while you do have to pay, it’s only $25/hour which is really affordable.
Con- If you’re looking for golden light sunset photos this location probably isn’t best for you. This is because the sun dips behind the trees a couple hours before sunset, so most photos here will be in the shade.
Pro- The variety and landscape offered. This location has a forested area, waterfall, bridge and brick ruins. It can offer a wide variety of backdrops for your photos.
